This brush is really great for applying mineral makeup, especially if you're striving for fuller coverage. The brush applies makeup evenly, is comfortable to use, and is soft to the touch. However, I can only in good conscious give the brush three stars because it sheds hairs like CRAZY, as do all my Bare Escentuals brushes. It irks me that I fork over so much money for what are supposed to be high-quality brushes, and then I have to spend a few extra seconds picking little brush hairs off my face and clothing after each application.

This brush gives better coverage and better precision than the largest buki brush. I use it around my eyes and mouth, where I have a natural skin discoloration. Other than the concealer brush, this is my favorite brush in the set, and I will even use it to apply eye shadows, because I usually use a light natural eye shadow (Pure and Peach Puff are my favorites).
If you like the large buki, I think you'll like this one, too.

This brush is the best one I have ever used. It is easy to use, and feels wonderful against the skin. Mine is almost 2 years old, and is still like new.

I have the regular kabuki brush and I got the Handy Buki for my daughter. I steal it every chance I get. It is the best brush I have ever used with the bare minerals line. And it's smaller, more compact bristles let you be more precise with the application. I would highly recommend this brush. My daughter loves it too.
